JORGE TRELLES
Executive Producer/Creative Consultant
Jorge Trelles started his career in the visual arts in 1990, as a graphics engineer for the Union Video Center at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. In 1993, he moved to California where he worked on projects for MTV, Nickelodeon, ESPN, CNET, Walmart and Current TV. In 2007, he joined ITVS as Supervising Producer, where he supervised over 100 award-winning films for PBS. He also taught courses on Directing, Advanced Editing and Special Effects at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco for over 10 years.
In December of 2014, Jorge moved to Miami, Florida to re-connect with his Latino roots. Over the next few years, he worked as producer for Univision and Fusion TV, where he honed his skills in social media and journalism in both English and Spanish. Seeking to provide quality content with a Latino voice, he created Mofongolandia in the heart of the Latino Media mecca of the United States.
Jorge was born and raised in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, but currently lives in Miami Beach, Florida.
JOE PERALTA
Writer and Voice Actor
Joe Peralta has been creating voice professionally since 1990, where he was the voice of a number of automated systems throughout Northern California. From there, he worked with a number of enterprises in Silicon Valley, recording entertainment DVDs, as well as recording narration for a number of safety videos for Cal/OSHA.
He currently volunteers for the Lighthouse for the Blind and recently expanded working for animations and commercials, including the voice for Winnie The Pooh plush toys. Joe is also a renown comedian throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
Joe was born to Nicaraguan parents, and was raised in Telpaneca, Nicaragua. He currently lives in the East Bay in California.
JEWELS JASELLE
Voice Actor
Jewels Jaselle a native of the San Francisco Bay area has trained with vocal coaches who have worked with Natasha Beddingfield, Justin Timberlake and Josh Groban to name a few. Upon signing a major recording contract with Warner, at the age of 13 her recording debut resulted in one of her singles being featured on the “Beverly Hills 90210” soundtrack, this led to a tour with featured stops in Spain, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and London.
Jewels is a bilingual voice actor for companies such as Disney, Nickelodeon, WB, NBC, Leapfrog, Activision, Mattel, SEGA, LucasArts, Facebook, Electronic Arts, Pepsi and Itunes. She has been the voice of Dora the Explorer as well as Daphne in Scooby Doo.
Jewels was born to a Mexican mother and a Spanish father, and she currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
JORGE CALDERÓN
Art Director
Jorge Rafael Calderón is an artist who works in a variety of media. With a conceptual approach, Calderón tries to approach a wide scale of subjects in a multi-layered way. After obtaining his B.F.A in Illustration and Graphic Design from Pratt Institute in New York, Mr. Calderón has continue to develop and nurture his different voices as an Art director, Illustrator, Graphic Designer, Actor, Musician, and as an advertising creative for more than 20 years.
His artworks directly respond to the surrounding environment and uses everyday experiences from the artist as a starting point. Often these are framed instances that would go unnoticed in their original context.
His work can be found in private art collections both in the United States and abroad. He currently lives and works in Miami.
MICHAEL TEMBU NDAH
Music Composer
Michael Tembu Ndah attended Expression College for Digital Media in Emeryville, California becoming a certified Pro Tools systems operator, and graduated with a BAS in Sopund SArts. He is the co-founder of Steadfast Media offering audio, video and photo services internationally. Hew has worked for shows such as the Get Healthy Project for Sam Mateo county, and the show East Los High, exclusively in Hulu Plus.
Michael was born in San Francisco, California, but was raised in Cameroon, West Africa.
JON RONIGER & THE GOOD FOR NOTHIN’ BAND
House Band
Jon Roniger and The Good For Nothin’ Band proudly plays all original grease slicked, jazz licked, blues-rock, singer/songwriter music that draws wayward wanderers from the streets and pulls them to the dance floor. In only two years since the band’s inception, they boast a host of local residencies on the highly competitive New Orleans music scene.
